By default, Social Post Flow has no scheduling limits – queue as many posts as you like across your connected profiles.
There’s one exception: X link posts.
Why X has a limit
On July 1st 2026, X (formerly Twitter) moved to a pay-per-use API pricing model, charging $0.20 for every post containing a link and $0.015 for every text-only post. To keep Social Post Flow affordable, while remaining sustainable, each plan includes a monthly allowance of X link posts:

Limits reset on the 1st of each calendar month.
What counts as a link post?
A post counts against your monthly X link post limit if any of the following contain a URL:
- The URL field on a Link post
- The text of a Text or Image post
- The first comment attached to a Text or Image post
Everything else – text-only posts, image posts without URLs, videos, threads – is unlimited on every plan.
What if I need more?
Connect a Buffer Account
Social Post Flow supports connecting a Buffer account as an integration. Profiles connected to your Buffer account then become available for use in Social Post Flow.
Best of all, Buffer doesn’t have any limits on X posts.
- Sign up for Buffer — their free plan supports 3 profiles.
- In Buffer, connect the X account(s) you want to route through Buffer.
- In Buffer, generate a Personal API Key from your API Access settings.
- In Social Post Flow, go to Manage Profiles → Buffer.
- Paste your API Key, click Connect, then select which Buffer channels to add to Social Post Flow.
Buffer-routed profiles appear prefixed with “Buffer:” in your profiles list, so they’re easy to distinguish from directly-connected profiles.
Upgrade your plan
Upgrade your plan. Growth doubles Starter’s allowance, Pro quadruples it. You can change plans anytime from your Billing page.

24-hour rolling limits
Some social networks impose their own limits on how many posts can be published to a single profile in any 24-hour window. Social Post Flow honours these platform-level limits automatically — you don’t need to worry about them. You’re still free to schedule as many future posts as you like; they’ll be delivered within each network’s rate limits when their scheduled time arrives.
